SAVIANO-BUGIELSKI-MCAULIFFE-DURKIN-FRITCHEY. New Act Creates the Decommissioned Police Firearms Act. Except as otherwise provided in the Act, prohibits the transfer of decommissioned police firearms. Provides that decommissioned firearms may be transferred from one law enforcement agency to another law enforcement agency. Provides that a law enforcement agency may allow a peace officer to retain his or her decommissioned firearm upon his or her retirement in good standing.
