PUGH-DELGADO-HARRIS-JONES,LOU-CURRIE, SHARP, 
   HOWARD AND GASH.

   725 ILCS 5/119-10 new                                                       

        Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963.  Provides that  an      
   execution  of  a  defendant  may not take place for 18 months from the      
   effective date of this amendatory Act.  Creates a  commission  on  the      
   death penalty to study the law that provides for the death penalty and      
   the administration of the death penalty.  Provides that the commission      
   must report its findings to the General Assembly within 15 months from      
   the effective date of this amendatory Act.  Effective immediately.
