FRANKS. 10 ILCS 5/9-25 from Ch. 46, par. 9-25 Amends the Election Code. Prohibits full-time and part-time State employees from making campaign contributions to or on behalf of the political committees of candidates for or holders of the offices of General Assembly member, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Treasurer, and State Comptroller. Provides that if such contributions are made, they escheat to the State and must be surrendered to the State Treasurer immediately. Effective immediately.
