KLINGLER. 40 ILCS 5/14-104 from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 14-104 Amends the State Employee Article of the Pension Code. Provides that an employee may establish eligible creditable service for up to 2 years spent on layoff, under certain circumstances. Requires payment of both employee and employer contributions, plus interest. Specifies that the employee contribution and interest shall be based on the date the employee returns to employment after the layoff. Effective immediately.
