JOHNSON,TOM. 30 ILCS 105/5.490 new 30 ILCS 105/6z-43 new 305 ILCS 5/5-5.22 new 305 ILCS 5/Art. 5E rep. Amends the State Finance Act and the Illinois Public Aid Code. Creates the Tobacco Settlement Recovery Fund as a special fund in the State Treasury. Provides that the Fund shall consist of all monies paid to the State pursuant to (1) the Master Settlement Agreement entered in the case of People of the State of Illinois v. Philip Morris, et al. and (2) any settlement with or judgment against any tobacco product manufacturer other than one participating in the Master Settlement Agreement, as well as any other monies as provided by law.
