WOOLARD. (BURZYNSKI) 110 ILCS 225/3 from Ch. 144, par. 2953 110 ILCS 805/3-37 from Ch. 122, par. 103-37 Amends the Illinois Cooperative Work Study Program Act and the Public Community College Act. Requires the Board of Higher Education to assure that a representative number of grants support cooperative work study programs that support work experiences for students in academic programs related to information technology. Removes the requirement that the board of a community college district have the prior approval of the Board of Higher Education before entering into an installment loan arrangement with a financial institution for the purpose of borrowing money to buy sites and to either buy or build and equip buildings and improvements. Removes the provision that allows the board of the community college district to enter into the installment loan arrangement for the purpose of transferring funds to the Illinois Building Authority.
