HULTGREN. 735 ILCS 5/8-804 new Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Provides that a unit of State or local government or a school district or community college district may not be required to disclose in discovery any intragovernmental documents reflecting advisory opinions, recommendations, and deliberations comprising part of a process by which governmental decisions and policies for the unit of government or district are formulated. Provides that a unit of State or local government or a school district or community college district must nevertheless disclose in discovery a document otherwise privileged if the party requesting production of the document establishes a particularized need for the document.
