SAVIANO-BURKE-SHARP. (WALSH,T) 30 ILCS 105/5.490 new 410 ILCS 535/25 from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 73-25 410 ILCS 535/25.5 new Amends the Vital Records Act. Provides for an additional $2 fee for obtaining a certified copy of a death certificate or a fetal death certificate. Provides that the fee shall be deposited into the Death Certificate Surcharge Fund. Provides that 25% of the moneys in the Fund may be used by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board, 25% by the Illinois Necropsy Board, 25% by the Department of Public Health, and 25% by the Cook County Health Department. Amends the State Finance Act to create the Fund.
