NOVAK. 415 ILCS 5/22.19a 415 ILCS 5/22.19b Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Provides that a sanitary landfill or waste disposal site that is a pollution control facility that ceased accepting waste on or before August 19, 1997 or any part of a sanitary landfill or waste disposal site that is a pollution control facility that ceased accepting waste on or before August 19, 1997 may be located within the boundary of the 100-year floodplain. Provides that the Agency shall propose and the Board shall adopt financial assurance rules only for certain sanitary landfills and waste disposal sites rather than for all sanitary landfills and waste disposal sites that may be located within the boundary of the 100-year floodplain. Effective immediately. FISCAL NOTE (Pollution Control Board) HB1745 will have no fiscal impact on PCB.
