HOWARD. 105 ILCS 5/34-15 from Ch. 122, par. 34-15 105 ILCS 5/34-18 from Ch. 122, par. 34-18 Amends the Chicago School District Article of the School Code. Provides that full time non-certified employees may not be removed, after having served a probationary period of 4 years, except for cause; establishes procedures for removal. Requires each employee who attains or has attained the age of 70 years to be compulsorily retired, with exceptions. Removes the power of the board to contract with third parties for services otherwise performed by employees and to layoff those employees. Provides that rules promulgated by the board establishing procedures governing the layoff or reduction in force of employees and the recall of these employees shall not be inconsistent with any collective bargaining agreement.
