BLACK AND GRANBERG.

(MAITLAND)

   40 ILCS 5/7-123           from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 7-123                      

        Amends the IMRF Article of the  Pension  Code.   Makes  technical      
   corrections  in  a Section relating to the effective rate of interest.      
   Effective immediately.                                                      
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          There will not be a fiscal impact on IMRF.                           
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Deletes the immediate effective date.
