ACEVEDO-SILVA-LOPEZ-BRADLEY-MCAULIFFE. (MUNOZ) 305 ILCS 5/5-5 from Ch. 23, par. 5-5 Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that, notwithstanding any other provision regarding services covered under the medical assistance program, medically necessary organ transplants shall be covered under the medical assistance program for persons who are otherwise eligible for assistance under this program, as well as for legal aliens residing in Illinois whose income and assets render them eligible for assistance, regardless of whether they meet the other eligibility requirements of the program.
