   LINDNER, HAMOS, HULTGREN, PARKE, WAIT, DART AND MORROW.

(DILLARD-SULLIVAN-RADOGNO-PARKER)

   720 ILCS 5/24-3A                                                            

        Amends the Criminal Code of 1961.  Provides  that  a  person  who      
   commits gunrunning by transferring firearms to a person under 18 years      
   of  age  is  guilty of a Class X felony.  (Now gunrunning is a Class 1      
   felony regardless of the age of the transferee of the firearms).
