   35 ILCS 200/15-105                                                          

        Amends the Property Tax Code.  Provides that property leased to a      
   park district for $1 or less per year and  used  exclusively  as  open      
   space  for  recreational purposes is exempt from taxes, up to 20 acres      
   per lease.  (Now the limit is 20  acres  in  the  aggregate  for  each      
   district.)  Effective immediately.                                          
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Deletes everything. Amends the Property Tax Code. Provides that        
   property leased to a park or conservation district for $1 or less per       
   year and used exclusively as open space for recreational purposes is        
   exempt from taxes, up to 50 acres (rather than 20 acres) in the aggre-      
   gate for each district.
