1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Margaret J. Davis, who passed away July 30, 2000; and
5 WHEREAS, Margaret J. Davis was born November 15, 1922 in
6 Chicago, Illinois to Florian and Margaret Sheahan; and
7 WHEREAS, Margaret J. Davis lived in the Northwest suburbs
8 for most of her life; she was a member of St. Thomas More
9 Church in Crystal Lake; prior to her retirement, she had been
10 employed as a loan officer and office manager; and
11 WHEREAS, The passing of Margaret J. Davis will be deeply
12 felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her daughter,
13 Peggy (husband, Dan) Drew; her sister, Katherine McNalis; her
14 grandchildren, Maggie (husband, Fred) Losch, Dan Drew,
15 Christine Drew, and Kevin Drew; her nieces and nephews; and
16 her caregiver, Jennie Kwiatkowska; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
19 all who knew her, the death of Margaret J. Davis of Crystal
20 Lake, Illinois; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to the family of Margaret J. Davis.
