 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Illinois  Senate  wish  to
 3    express  their  sincere condolences to the family and friends
 4    of Melvin Kuntzman, who recently passed away; and

 5        WHEREAS,  Melvin  Kuntzman  was  born   in   Carlinville,
 6    Illinois  on  January  19,  1930;  his parents were Elmer and
 7    Velma (Ruyle)  Kuntzman;  on  October  18,  1949  he  married
 8    Marilyn Hoelting in Carlinville; and

 9        WHEREAS,  Melvin  Kuntzman  was a graduate of Carlinville
10    High School; he owned and operated Kuntzman Produce  Co.  for
11    twenty  years  and then worked as a Warehouseman for Monterey
12    Coal Company in Carlinville until his retirement in 1990;  he
13    was   a  past  member  of  the  Carlinville  Elks  Lodge  and
14    Carlinville Country Club; and

15        WHEREAS, The passing of Melvin Kuntzman will be  felt  by
16    all who knew him, especially his wife, Marilyn; his sons, Dan
17    (Kathy) and John Kuntzman; his daughters, Dana (John) Yowell,
18    Patty  (Mike)  Moore,  and Sally Kuntzman; his grandchildren,
19    Lori (Bob) Reiher, Chris  Yowell,  Rob  Yowell,  and  Hillary
20    Moore;  his  great-grandchildren,  Madelin  Reiher  and  Jack
21    Reiher;  his  sister,  Eileen  Malham; and several nieces and
22    nephews; therefore, be it

23        RESOLVED, BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-FIRST  GENERAL
24    ASSEMBLY  OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
25    all  who  knew  him,  the  death  of   Melvin   Kuntzman   of
26    Carlinville, Illinois; and be it further

27        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
28    presented to the family of Melvin Kuntzman.
