1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 extend their sincerest condolences to the family and friends
4 of Warneen Krueger Soucy, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Warneen Soucy was the first female police
6 officer in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, with twenty years of
7 service; and
8 WHEREAS, Warneen Soucy was a member of the Fraternal
9 Order of Police, the Illinois Crime Prevention Association,
10 and Illinois Women in Law Enforcement, and she served as
11 police liaison with the Buffalo Grove Senior's Program; and
12 WHEREAS, Warneen Soucy is survived by her husband,
13 Michael S. Soucy; her father, Warren G. Krueger; her
14 father-in-law, Paul A. Soucy; her sisters-in-law and
15 husbands, Mary Anne and Andrew Schorn, Joan and Paul Hopkins,
16 Yvonne and Scott Kristiansen, and Patricia and Robert Muench;
17 and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
20 Warneen Soucy of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to the family of Warneen Soucy.
