1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the recent death of Lee Roy T. Erickson of Palos Heights;
4 and
5 WHEREAS, He was born in Chicago on June 25, 1910; he
6 served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War
7 II; and
8 WHEREAS, He worked for twenty-five years as an accountant
9 at Universal Car Loading and Distributors in Chicago; and
10 WHEREAS, He was a charter member of the Kiwanis Golden
11 Kay of Oak Lawn, the Inglewood Outdoor Club, and the Worth
12 Township Senior Association; he also belonged to the Veterans
13 of Foreign Wars and the American Legion Glenn Maker Post of
14 Chicago Ridge; and
15 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family
16 and friends, especially his wife, Lois; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow
19 and regret the death of Lee Roy T. Erickson and offer our
20 sincere condolences to his wife, Lois; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to Lois H. Erickson.
