1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Senate were saddened to
3 learn of the death of Pete Moruskey of Mount Clare on
4 Tuesday, March 23, 1999; and
5 WHEREAS, He was born in Cambria, Wyoming, on May 12,
6 1915, the son of the late Adam and Bertha Dominski Moruskey;
7 he married Mary Goldasich on January 15, 1949; and
8 WHEREAS, A veteran of the United States Army during World
9 War II, he worked as a welder for Amoco Oil Company, retiring
10 in 1976; he was a former Eagerville mayor and former Cahokia
11 Township Supervisor; and
12 WHEREAS, Mr. Moruskey was a member of the Veterans of
13 Foreign Wars Post 4547 in Gillespie; and
14 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family
15 and friends, especially his wife, Mary, and several nieces
16 and nephews; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow
19 and regret the death of Pete Moruskey and extend our sincere
20 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to his widow, Mary Moruskey.
