 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
 3    of the death of Jennie  F.  Pregracke  of  North  Chicago  on
 4    Wednesday, February 17, 1999; and

 5        WHEREAS,  She  was  born in Waukegan on December 12, 1912
 6    and lived in the North Chicago  and  Waukegan  area  all  her
 7    life; she retired in 1977 from Sears Roebuck and Company; and

 8        WHEREAS,  She  was  a  former  member  of Holy Rosary and
 9    Mother of God Churches and presently was a member of Queen of
10    Peace Church; she was  a  member  of  the  Altar  and  Rosary
11    Sodality and K.S.K.J. St. Mary's Lodge #79; and

12        WHEREAS,  She  was preceded in death by her husband, John
13    Pregracke, in 1956; and

14        WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt  by  her  family
15    and friends, especially her son, Dennis; her daughters, Carol
16    Ann  Woods  and Celeste Pregracke; her daughter-in-law, Mary;
17    her son-in-law, Patrick  Woods;  her  grandchildren,  Michael
18    Woods,  Amy Woods, Sarah Pregracke, and Joseph Pregracke; her
19    great-grandchild, Miranda Woods; and her sisters,  Ann  DeBoo
20    and Pauline Link; therefore, be it

21        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
22    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note  with  sorrow
23    and regret the death of Jennie F. Pregracke and extend to her
24    family and friends our sincere condolences; and be it further

25        RESOLVED,  That  suitable  copies  of  this resolution be
26    presented to the family of Jennie F. Pregracke.
