1 AN ACT to amend the Civil Administrative Code of
2 Illinois.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by changing Section 5-5 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 5/5-5) (was 20 ILCS 5/2)
8 Sec. 5-5. "Department" defined. As used in the Civil
9 Administrative Code of Illinois, unless the context otherwise
10 clearly indicates, the word "department" means the several
11 departments of the State government as designated in Section
12 5-15 of this Law, and none other.
