 1        AN ACT making appropriations and reappropriations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  sum of $202,460,000, or so much thereof
 5    as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
 6    Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University
 7    for any expenditures or purposes authorized by law, including
 8    payment to the University for personal services  and  related
 9    costs incurred, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001.

10        Section  10.  The  sum of $28,840,000, or so much thereof
11    as may be  necessary,  is  appropriated  from  the  Education
12    Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois
13    University  for  any  expenditures  or purposes authorized by
14    law,  including  payment  to  the  University  for   personal
15    services  and  related  costs  incurred,  for the fiscal year
16    ending June 30, 2001.

17        Section 15.  The amount of $814,444, or so  much  thereof
18    as  may  be  necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
19    business on June 30, 2000, from a reappropriation  heretofore
20    made  for such purpose in Article 9, Section 40 of Public Act
21    91-8 is reappropriated to Southern Illinois  University  from
22    the    Capital    Development    Fund    for   digitalization
23    infrastructure for WSIU-TV (Carbondale).

24        Section 20.  The amount of $814,444, or so  much  thereof
25    as  may  be  necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
26    business on June 30, 2000, from a reappropriation  heretofore
27    made  for such purpose in Article 9, Section 45 of Public Act
28    91-8 is reappropriated to Southern Illinois  University  from
29    the    Capital    Development    Fund    for   digitalization

 1    infrastructure for WUSI-TV (Olney).

 2        Section 25.  The amount of $6,000,000, or so much thereof
 3    as may be necessary and remains unexpended at  the  close  of
 4    business  on June 30, 2000, from a reappropriation heretofore
 5    made for such purpose in Article 28, Section 25 of Public Act
 6    91-20 is reappropriated to Southern Illinois University  from
 7    the Capital Development Fund for purchasing equipment for the
 8    Engineering Building at the Edwardsville campus.

 9        Section  30.  The amount of $8,086, or so much thereof as
10    may be necessary and  remains  unexpended  at  the  close  of
11    business  on June 30, 2000, from a reappropriation heretofore
12    made for such purpose in Article 28, Section 25 of Public Act
13    91-20 is reappropriated to Southern Illinois University  from
14    the Capital Development Fund for purchasing equipment for the
15    Bio-Science Building at the Carbondale campus.

16        Section  35.  The  sum of $143,160, or so much thereof as
17    may be necessary and  remains  unexpended  at  the  close  of
18    business  on June 30, 2000, from a reappropriation heretofore
19    made for such purpose in Article 1, Section 160 of Public Act
20    91-8, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund  to
21    the  Board  of  Trustees  of Southern Illinois University for
22    technology infrastructure enhacements.

23        Section 40.  The sum of $11,394, or so  much  thereof  as
24    may  be  necessary  and  remains  unexpended  at the close of
25    business on June 30, 2000, from a reappropriation  heretofore
26    made for such purpose in Article 1, Section 210 of Public Act
27    91-8,  is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund to
28    the Board of Trustees of  Southern  Illinois  University  for
29    technology infrastrucure enhancements.

 1        Section  99.  Effective  date.   This Act takes effect on
 2    July 1, 2000.
