1 AN ACT making appropriations and reappropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The sum of $52,652,400, or so much thereof as
5 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
6 Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University
7 for any expenditures or purposes authorized by law, including
8 payment to the University for personal services and related
9 costs incurred, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001.
10 Section 10. The sum of $8,755,000, or so much thereof as
11 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education
12 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois
13 University for any expenditures or purposes authorized by
14 law, including payment to the University for personal
15 services and related costs incurred, for the fiscal year
16 ending June 30, 2001.
17 Section 15. The amount of $150,900, or so much thereof
18 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
19 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore
20 made for such purposes in Article 6, Section 15 of Public Act
21 91-8, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future to
22 the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University for all
23 costs associated with the repair, rehabilitation, and
24 replacement of the bull test station and its related
25 equipment.
26 Section 20. The amount of $125,000, or so much thereof
27 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
28 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore
29 made for such purposes in Article 6, Section 20 of Public Act

1 91-8, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future to
2 the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University for all
3 costs associated with the repair, rehabilitation, and
4 replacement of the roof on Sherman Hall.
5 Section 25. The amount of $125,000, or so much thereof
6 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
7 business on June 30, 2000, from an appropriation heretofore
8 made for such purposes in Article 6, Section 25 of Public Act
9 91-8, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois' Future to
10 the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University for all
11 costs associated with the repair, rehabilitation, and
12 replacement of bleachers in Western Hall.
13 Section 30. The amount of $424,400, or so much thereof
14 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
15 business on June 30, 2000, from a reappropriation heretofore
16 made for such purposes in Article 1, Section 155 of Public
17 Act 91-8, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund
18 to the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University for
19 technology infrastructure improvements at Western Illinois
20 University. No contract shall be entered into or obligation
21 incurred for any expenditures from the appropriation made in
22 this Section until after the purposes and amounts have been
23 approved in writing by the Governor.
24 Section 35. The amount of $25,000, or so much thereof as
25 may be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and
26 University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western
27 Illinois University for scholarship grant awards from the
28 sale of collegiate license plates.
29 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
30 1, 2000.
