 1        AN ACT in relation to real property.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Code  of  Civil Procedure is amended by
 5    changing Section 7-103.53 and by  adding  Sections  7-103.97,
 6    7-103.98,    7-103.99,   7-103.100,   7-103.101,   7-103.102,
 7    7-103.103, 7-103.104, 7-103.105, and 7-103.106 as follows:

 8        (735 ILCS 5/7-103.53)
 9        Sec.  7-103.53.  Quick-take;  Village  of  Elmwood  Park.
10    Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for  a
11    period  of 3 years after July 1, 2000 1997, by the Village of
12    Elmwood  Park  to  be  used  only  for  the  acquisition   of
13    commercially zoned property within the area designated as the
14    Tax  Increment Redevelopment Project Area by ordinance passed
15    and approved on December 15, 1986, as well as to be used only
16    for the acquisition of commercially zoned property located at
17    the northwest corner of North Avenue and  Harlem  Avenue  and
18    commercially  zoned  property located at the southwest corner
19    of  Harlem  Avenue  and  Armitage  Avenue  for  redevelopment
20    purposes, as set forth in Division 74.3 of Article 11 of  the
21    Illinois Municipal Code.

24        Sec. 7-103.97.  Quick-take; City of Northlake. Quick-take
25    proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for a period of 2
26    years  after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the
27    91st General Assembly  by  the  City  of  Northlake  for  the
28    acquisition  of  the  south 6 feet of a parking area abutting
29    the state right-of-way for Route 64 (North Avenue) located in
30    the City of Northlake in Cook County in order to re-align the

 1    service road and create additional parking.

 3        Sec. 7-103.98.  Quick-take; Fox Metro  Water  Reclamation
 4    District.   Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may be
 5    used by the Fox Metro Water Reclamation District for a period
 6    of 12 months after the effective date of this amendatory  Act
 7    of  the  91st  General  Assembly  for  the acquisition of the
 8    following described property for the purpose of  constructing
 9    gravity  interceptor  sewers  and a pump station to force the
10    main to convey sanitary sewer flow from the Southwest Service
11    Area to the existing Fox  Metro  Water  Reclamation  District
12    wastewater treatment plant:
