1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1446
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1446 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT to amend the School Code by adding Section
5 2-3.33a."; and
6 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
7 following:
8 "Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section
9 2-3.33a as follows:
10 (105 ILCS 5/2-3.33a new)
11 Sec. 2-3.33a. Audit adjustments prohibited; alternative
12 education program. The State Board of Education shall not
13 make audit adjustments to general State aid claims paid in
14 fiscal years 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 based upon the
15 claimant's failure to provide a minimum of 5 clock hours of
16 daily instruction to students in an alternative education
17 program.
18 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
19 becoming law.".
