1 AN ACT to amend the Deposit of State Moneys Act by
2 changing Section 23.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Deposit of State Moneys Act is amended by
6 changing Section 23 as follows:
7 (15 ILCS 520/23) (from Ch. 130, par. 42)
8 Sec. 23. Violations. Any State official or other person
9 who wilfully violates any provision of this Act, for which a
10 penalty is not otherwise prescribed, or who wilfully neglects
11 or refuses to perform any duty imposed upon such person by
12 the terms of this Act, shall be guilty of a Class 4 felony.
