1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1303
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1303 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT concerning taxes."; and
5 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
6 following:
7 "Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
8 Section 23-30 as follows:
9 (35 ILCS 200/23-30)
10 Sec. 23-30. Court conference on tax objection. Following
11 the filing of an objection under Section 23-10, the court may
12 hold a conference with the objector and the State's Attorney.
13 Compromise agreements on tax objections reached by conference
14 shall be filed with the court, and the parties shall prepare
15 an order covering the settlement and submit the order to the
16 court for entry.
