1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $500,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department
6 of Agriculture to fund the increase in the number of
7 inspectors and veterinarians employed under Section 7 of the
8 Meat and Poultry Inspection Act.
9 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
10 1, 1999.
