1 AN ACT to amend the Park District Code by changing
2 Section 9-2.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Park District Code is amended by changing
6 Section 9-2 as follows:
7 (70 ILCS 1205/9-2) (from Ch. 105, par. 9-2)
8 Sec. 9-2. Every Each park district is authorized to
9 acquire by purchase or condemnation under power of eminent
10 domain, or lease, real estate, in whole or in part, either
11 within or without the corporate limits of said park district
12 for the purpose of establishing or expanding for said
13 district an airport and landing field for aircraft, and to
14 provide hangars, shops, and other necessary equipment and
15 appurtenances therefor usually incident to the operation of
16 an airport, and to maintain and operate the same.
