 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1118

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1118 on  page  46,
 3    by replacing line 6 with the following:
 4    "Sections 3-30, 9, and 10 as follows:

 5        (35 ILCS 105/3-30) (from Ch. 120, par. 439.3-30)
 6        Sec. 3-30.  Graphic arts production.  For the purposes of
 7    this Act, "graphic arts production" means printing, including
 8    ink  jet  printing,  by  one  or more of the common processes
 9    described in Groups 323110 through 323122 of  Subsector  323,
10    Groups  511110  through  511199  of  Subsector 511, and Group
11    512230 of  Subsector  512  of  the  North  American  Industry
12    Classification   System  published  by  the  U.S.  Office  of
13    Management  and  Budget,  1997  edition   or   graphic   arts
14    production  services  as  those  processes  and  services are
15    defined in Major Group 27 of the U.  S.  Standard  Industrial
16    Classification  Manual.  Graphic  arts  production  does  not
17    include  (i)  the  transfer  of  images  onto  paper or other
18    tangible personal property by means of photocopying  or  (ii)
19    final printed products in electronic or audio form, including
20    the production of software or audio-books.
