91_SB0876eng SB876 Engrossed LRB9105732MWpr 1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Procurement Code by changing 2 Section 53-20. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by 6 changing Section 53-20 as follows: 7 (30 ILCS 500/53-20) 8 Sec. 53-20. Contract duration and terms. Except for 9 property under the jurisdiction of a public institution of 10 higher education, the duration and terms of concessions and 11 leases of State property shall be in accordance with this 12 Code or other applicable law. 13 Upon recommendation of the chief procurement officer and 14 approval by the Board, the duration of concessions and leases 15 of State property not paid from State appropriated funds may 16 be for a term of no longer than 25 years. 17 (Source: P.A. 90-572, eff. date - See Sec. 99-5.)
