1 AN ACT to amend the Metropolitan Water Reclamation
2 District Act by adding Section 281.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District
6 Act is amended by adding Section 281 as follows:
7 (70 ILCS 2605/281 new)
8 Sec. 281. Annexation. On the effective date of this
9 amendatory Act of the 91st General Assembly, the corporate
10 limits of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District,
11 formerly known as the Metropolitan Sanitary District of
12 Greater Chicago and as the Sanitary District of Chicago, are
13 extended to include the following described tract and that
14 tract is annexed to the District:
15 Parcel No. 1 :
16 That part of the South West Quarter of Section 34,
17 Township 42 North, Range 9, East of the Third Principal
18 Meridian, lying South of the South line of Higgins Road as
19 presently located and as widened by Deed recorded November
20 10, 1937 as Document 12080620, (excepting therefrom the East
21 17 feet of the West 50 feet thereof), in Cook County,
22 Illinois.
23 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
24 becoming law.
