1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
5 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
6 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
7 General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Chicago
8 State University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses
9 of the Board and its educational institution:
10 For Personal Services, including payment
11 to the University for personal services
12 costs incurred during the fiscal year .......... $34,784,400
13 For Contractual Services ..................... 1,500,000
14 For Travel ................................... 60,000
15 For Commodities .............................. 150,000
16 For Equipment and Library Books .............. 2,699,000
17 For Telecommunication Services ............... 1,000
18 For Operation of Automotive Equipment ........ 1,000
19 For Permanent Improvements ................... 1,000
20 Total $39,196,400
21 Section 10. The following named amount, or so much
22 thereof as may be necessary for the object and purpose
23 hereinafter named, is appropriated from the Education
24 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Chicago State
25 University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of
26 the Board and its educational institution:
27 For Contractual Services ..................... $319,500
28 Total $319,500
29 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
30 1, 1999.
