 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 658

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 658,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to  page and line numbers of House Amendment
 4    No. 1, on page 4, by replacing line 18 with the following:
 5    "prosthetics and fracture bracing techniques; and"; and

 6    on page 5, line 3, by replacing "prescription of orthoses  as
 7    prescribed" with "order of orthoses as ordered"; and

 8    on page 6, line 11, by deleting ", chiropractor"; and

 9    on page 6, line 16, by replacing "prescription" with "order";
10    and

11    on page 6, line 17, by replacing "prescribed" with "ordered";
12    and

13    on  page  7, line 2, by replacing "prescription of prostheses
14    as prescribed" with "order of prostheses as ordered"; and

15    on page 7, by deleting lines 10 through 19; and

16    on page 8, lines 26 and 27, by deleting  "the  practice  of";
17    and

18    on page 9, by deleting lines 20 through 22; and

19    on page 9, line 23, by replacing "(e)" with "(d)"; and

 1    on  page 9, line 29, by replacing "Governor" with "Director";
 2    and

 3    on page 10, lines 22 and 23,  by  replacing  "Governor"  each
 4    time it appears with "Director"; and

 5    on page 11, line 2, by deleting "or temporary"; and

 6    on page 11, line 3, by deleting "or temporary"; and

 7    on page 15, line 9, by replacing "effective date of this Act"
 8    with  "enforcement of this Section begins pursuant to Section
 9    56 of this Act"; and

10    on page 19, by replacing lines 5 and 6 with the following:
11             "(5)  A pattern of practice or other  behavior  that
12        demonstrates incapacity or incompetence to practice under
13        this Act.
14             (6)  Gross negligence under this Act.".
