 1        AN ACT regarding appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The  following  named  amounts,  or  so  much
 5    thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Court of
 6    Claims for its ordinary and contingent expenses:
 7                         CLAIMS ADJUDICATION
 8    Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
 9    For Personal Services........................... $    799,400
10    For State Contribution to State Employees'
11        Retirement System...........................       81,600
12    For Employee Retirement Contributions
13        Paid by Employer............................       33,300
14    For State Contribution to Social Security.......       63,700
15    For Contractual Services........................       33,200
16    For Travel......................................       12,200
17    For Commodities.................................        7,500
18    For Printing....................................        3,100
19    For Equipment...................................        4,200
20    For Telecommunications Services.................        3,600
21    For Reimbursement for Incidental
22      Expenses Incurred by Judges...................       35,300
23        Total                                          $1,077,100

24        Section  10.   The amount of $117,500, or so much thereof
25    as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Court of Claims
26    Administration and Grant Fund to  the  Court  of  Claims  for
27    administrative  expenses under the Crime Victims Compensation
28    Act.

29        Section 15.  The following  named  amounts,  or  so  much
30    thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Court of

 2    For claims under the Crime Victims
 3      Compensation Act:
 4      Payable from General Revenue Fund.............  $18,000,000
 5    For claims other than Crime Victims:
 6      Payable from the General Revenue Fund.........    5,000,000
 7      Payable from the Road Fund....................      650,000
 8      Payable from the DCFS Children's
 9        Services Fund...............................    1,000,000
10      Payable from the State Garage
11        Revolving Fund..............................       50,000
12      Payable from the Traffic and
13        Criminal Conviction Surcharge Fund..........      100,000
14      Payable from the Vocational
15        Rehabilitation Fund.........................      125,000
16        Total                                         $24,925,000

17        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect July
18    1, 1999.
