91_SB0360enr SB360 Enrolled LRB9103933PTpk 1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Department of Revenue 2 Sunshine Act by adding Section 3.5. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The Illinois Department of Revenue Sunshine 6 Act is amended by adding Section 3.5 as follows: 7 (20 ILCS 2515/3.5 new) 8 Sec. 3.5. Instruction booklet; major revenue 9 expenditures. The Department of Revenue must include within 10 the instruction booklet that accompanies the income tax 11 return a report from the Comptroller containing the following 12 information: 13 (1) A summary of (i) the amount of revenue received 14 by the State in the preceding fiscal year, (ii) the major 15 categories of expenditures from that revenue accompanied 16 by a general description of each major expenditure, and 17 (iii) the general percentages of the revenue disbursed 18 for the major expenditures. 19 (2) A further summary of (i) the amount of revenue 20 received by the State under the Illinois Lottery Law in 21 the preceding fiscal year, (ii) the major categories of 22 expenditures from that revenue, including the amount 23 distributed to the Common School Fund, accompanied by a 24 general description of each major expenditure, and (iii) 25 the general percentages of the revenue disbursed for the 26 major expenditures.
