1 AN ACT to amend the Private Detective, Private Alarm,
2 Private Security, and Locksmith Act of 1993 by changing
3 Section 135.
4 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
5 represented in the General Assembly:
6 Section 5. The Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private
7 Security, and Locksmith Act of 1993 is amended by changing
8 Section 135 as follows:

10 Sec. 135. Temporary suspension. The Director may
11 temporarily suspend a license licensee without a hearing,
12 simultaneously with the initiation of proceedings for a
13 hearing provided for in Section 130 of this Act, if the
14 Director finds that evidence in his or her possession
15 indicates that a licensee's continuation in practice would
16 constitute an imminent danger to the public. If the Director
17 temporarily suspends the license of a licensee without a
18 hearing, a hearing by the Board shall be held within 30 days
19 after the suspension has occurred.
