1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Lucy Lindsay Smith has announced her retirement
3 from the Department of Human Services after thirty-three
4 years of service; she has planned her retirement for the end
5 of the year 2000; and
6 WHEREAS, Lucy Lindsay Smith is the Assistant Local Office
7 Administrator for the Department of Human Services; and
8 WHEREAS, Lucy Lindsay Smith serves on various community
9 committees, including as a member of the Millikin Board of
10 Trustees and the Webster-Cantrell Hall Board of Trustees, and
11 as president of Project Success; and
12 WHEREAS, Mrs. Smith will be enjoying her retirement along
13 with her husband, Robert; therefore, be it
14 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
15 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
16 we congratulate Lucy Lindsay Smith on her retirement from the
17 Department of Human Services; and be it further
18 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to Lucy Lindsay Smith.
