 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS,  The  members   of   the   Illinois   House   of
 3    Representatives  are saddened to learn of the death of Eugene
 4    J. Milsap of Chicago, Illinois,  who  recently  passed  away;
 5    and

 6        WHEREAS,  Eugene  J. Milsap was born February 17, 1925 in
 7    Chicago, Illinois; his parents were Boyce and Sylvia  Milsap;
 8    and

 9        WHEREAS,  Eugene J. Milsap attended Betsy Ross Elementary
10    School and Englewood High School; and

11        WHEREAS, Eugene J. Milsap was known  as  "Moose"  by  his
12    friends; he was an avid sports fan who played softball in the
13    1950's and 1960's; and

14        WHEREAS,  Eugene  J.  Milsap  was employed by Peoples Gas
15    Company, where he retired  in  April  of  1992  as  Community
16    Relations   Representative;   he  enjoyed  playing  golf  and
17    "resting and dressing"; and

18        WHEREAS, The passing of Eugene J. Milsap will  be  deeply
19    felt   by  all  that  knew  and  loved  him,  especially  his
20    daughters, Donna Milsap  and  Donna  Todd;  his  son,  Norman
21    (wife,    Adonia);    his    granddaughter,   Kimberly;   his
22    great-grandsons,  Corey  Eugene  and  Michael;  his  favorite
23    nephew, Rudolph V. Anderson, Jr. (Cecil); his best friend and
24    chosen brother, William "Skippy" Bates; his aunts,  Lois  Gee
25    and Bernice Gee; and many other friends, nieces, and nephews;
26    therefore, be it

27        RESOLVED,   BY   THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES  OF  THE
28    NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS,  that
29    we mourn, along with his many loved ones, the death of Eugene
30    J. Milsap of Chicago, Illinois; and be it further

 1        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
 2    presented to the family of Eugene J. Milsap.
