1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to express their sincere condolences to
4 the family and friends of Walter B. Kozak, who recently
5 passed away; and
6 WHEREAS, Mr. Kozak was a retired member of Local #134,
7 I.B.E.W; he was a charter member of the Beverly Kiwanis
8 Golden K and the Washington Heights Boosters Club; and
9 WHEREAS, Walter Kozak was a dedicated member of the
10 Kiwanis Club, where he served during Pancake Day and Peanut
11 Day Drives where he would keep track of the money and other
12 aspects of the fundraising drives; he also worked at the
13 Kiwanis Camp grounds, where he did electrical work and
14 anything else that needed his attention; he served as
15 Director from 1987 to 1988 and again from 1994 to 1996; he
16 was Vice-President from 1988 to 1989, President from 1989 to
17 1990, and Club Meeting Chairman from 1991 to 1994; and
18 WHEREAS, The passing of Walter Kozak will be felt by all
19 that knew him, especially his loving wife, Stella "Babe"; his
20 daughter, Dorothy (Eugene); his son, John (Elizabeth); his
21 seven grandchildren; his two great-grandchildren; and his
22 brother, Edward; therefore, be it
23 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
24 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
25 we mourn, along with his friends and family, the death of
26 Walter B. Kozak; and be it further
27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to the family of Walter B. Kozak.
