1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to honor milestones in the lives
4 of Illinois' citizens; and
5 WHEREAS, On June 11, 2000, the Morris Fire Department
6 will be honoring three of their own, three members
7 celebrating forty years with the Department; and
8 WHEREAS, Robert Coleman was born and raised in Morris; he
9 is a graduate of Morris Community High School and has an
10 Associate degree from Rockford Business College; he is a
11 veteran of the United States Army; and he owns
12 Coleman/Kohlhogen Century 21; and
13 WHEREAS, Robert Coleman has served as a firefighter since
14 1960; he has served as the Fire Department Secretary,
15 Assistant Chief, Chief in 1978, and as the Morris Fire
16 Marshall; and
17 WHEREAS, Robert Coleman is married to Barbara, and they
18 have three children, Leslie, Robin, and R.H.; therefore, be
19 it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
21 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
22 we congratulate Robert Coleman on his fortieth anniversary
23 with the Morris Fire Department; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to Robert Coleman.
