1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The House of Representatives is pleased to
3 recognize Illinois citizens who have distinguished themselves
4 in service to their community and this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that William E.
6 Leitze has announced his retirement from teaching, coaching,
7 and bus driver training; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Leitze has served as a bus driver instructor
9 for the Fulton/Schuyler Region since the inception of the
10 instructional program twenty-five years ago; he has always
11 been an advocate for student safety and his position on
12 student safety has been reflected in his instruction; and
13 WHEREAS, Mr. Leitze has brought teaching skills to his
14 bus driver instruction; he has dedicated his driver
15 instruction service to the safety of children in the Region;
16 and
17 WHEREAS, Mr. Leitze has earned the respect and support of
18 all school bus drivers and people who have come to know him;
19 therefore, be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
21 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
22 we acknowledge and applaud Mr. William E. Leitze for his
23 dedication and service to the School Bus Drivers of
24 Fulton/Schuyler Regional Office of Education #22 and for his
25 teaching and coaching during his career; we extend to him our
26 best wishes for the future; and be it further
27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to William E. Leitze.
