1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body were saddened to hear
3 of the death of Robert "Chubby" Bukovac, member of Iron
4 Workers Local Union #1, on May 11, 1999; and
5 WHEREAS, He was a member of Local Union #1 for 42 years
6 and prior to his death was a General Foreman for the Chicago
7 Transit Authority; and
8 WHEREAS, Robert Bukovac was extremely proud of his son,
9 Steven, who rose in the ranks of Local Union #1 to
10 Secretary/Treasurer and presently to the post of
11 Administrator of Local #1's Pension and Annuity Funds; and
12 WHEREAS, Robert Bukovac's passing will be deeply felt by
13 his family and friends, especially his wife, Deborah; his
14 son, Steven; and his daughters, Karen and Sharon; therefore,
15 be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
18 we note with sorrow and regret the death of Robert Bukovac
19 and extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends;
20 and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution shall
22 be presented to the family of Robert Bukovac.
