1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to recognize milestones in the
4 lives of citizens of the State of Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Thelma Webber is to be congratulated on her
6 retirement from Herscher High School, where she has served as
7 a secretary for 42 years; and
8 WHEREAS, Thelma Webber's trademark was knowing and
9 remembering the name of every student and faculty member; she
10 would take the new faculty members under her wing, and would
11 often invite them to her house for a home-cooked meal; and
12 WHEREAS, She would add inspirational messages to the
13 attendance report; and
14 WHEREAS, Thelma Webber started at Herscher High School a
15 week after her graduation from Herscher High School; she will
16 now keep busy by developing a Herscher High School Alumni
17 Association and spending time with her husband, Bob, and
18 sons, Roger, Rob, Jerry, and Gary; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
21 we congratulate Thelma Webber on a job well done; we wish her
22 well in her future as she leaves the hallowed halls of
23 Herscher High School; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to Thelma Webber.
