1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to recognize milestones in the
4 lives of Illinois citizens; and
5 WHEREAS, Danville, Illinois is the home of Les Kepner;
6 Mr. Kepner will be retiring from the real estate field soon
7 and in addition has been named Realtor of the Year by the
8 Danville Area Board of Realtors; and
9 WHEREAS, Les Kepner began his real estate career in
10 Rockford in 1967; in 1973 he received his broker's license;
11 in 1985 he moved to Danville, where he served as executive
12 vice president of the Danville Area Board of Realtors; and
13 WHEREAS, In addition to serving the real estate needs of
14 Danville, Mr. Kepner has also taught a pre-licensing real
15 estate class at Danville Area Community College since 1988;
16 and
17 WHEREAS, After his retirement at the end of the year, Mr.
18 Kepner and his wife, Zerilda, have decided to spend more time
19 with their children and friends, in addition to traveling and
20 playing golf; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
22 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
23 we congratulate Les Kepner on being named Realtor of the Year
24 by the Danville Area Board of Realtors and on his upcoming
25 retirement as a Danville realtor; and be it further
26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to Les Kepner.
