1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to
3 recognize significant milestones in the lives of the people
4 of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Larry
6 Lindberg, Onahan School Local School Council President, has
7 been named Onahan School Man of the Year; and
8 WHEREAS, Larry Lindberg graduated from Gray Elementary
9 and Lane Technical High School; he went on to Illinois
10 Institute of Technology; and
11 WHEREAS, Larry Lindberg has been recognized with awards
12 and recognition from the State of Illinois, the Pioneer
13 Press, and the Onahan School for his work as president; and
14 WHEREAS, Larry Lindberg has been an active, dedicated
15 president; his work with the students is remarkable; he has
16 spent many hours working, which during his presidency has
17 seen the school's academic ranking rise to one of the top ten
18 neighborhood schools; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
21 congratulate Larry Lindberg for having been selected Onahan
22 School Man of the Year and extend our best wishes for the
23 future; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of the resolution be
25 presented to Larry Lindberg as an expression of our esteem.
