1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body take great pride in
3 recognizing and commending individuals who have made
4 significant contributions to the public welfare through a
5 lifetime of endeavors; and
6 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Lieutenant
7 Robert Fridrych is retiring from the LaGrange Park Police
8 Department after having served thirty-one years; and
9 WHEREAS, Lieutenant Fridrych assumed the risks and
10 hazards of police work as he dutifully fulfilled the
11 requirements of his position; and
12 WHEREAS, While upholding the moral and physical
13 obligations of his profession, Lieutenant Fridrych set an
14 example for other officers to follow; and
15 WHEREAS, Lieutenant Fridrych will be honored at a
16 retirement party at D's Little Italy Restaurant in LaGrange
17 Park on Friday, April 16, 1999; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
20 we commend Lieutenant Robert Fridrych for thirty-one years of
21 dedicated service in the field of law enforcement and, on
22 behalf of the citizens of this State, we express our deep
23 appreciation while wishing him good health and continued
24 success in the future; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to him as an expression of our respect and esteem.
