1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Albert S. Wisowaty has announced his retirement
3 as Calumet City Treasurer as of May 13, 1999; and
4 WHEREAS, Mr. Wisowaty received a bachelor's degree from
5 Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana; he also became a
6 Certified Illinois Municipal Treasurer in 1982; and
7 WHEREAS, A United States Army veteran of World War II,
8 Mr. Wisowaty retired from Ford Motor Company as a Senior
9 Industrial Engineer after 36 years; he is the father of four
10 and the grandfather of two; and
11 WHEREAS, He has been affiliated with the Board of
12 Education District 215, an Alderman of Calumet City, and City
13 Treasurer; and
14 WHEREAS, He has also held membership in the American
15 Legion Post 330, Veterans of Foreign War Post 8141, Club
16 AMSAC, Knights of Columbus, and Thornton Township Senior
17 Citizens; he has been a Democratic Precinct Captain; and
18 WHEREAS, Mr. Wisowaty has earned the respect and
19 admiration of all who know him; therefore, be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
21 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
22 we congratulate Albert S. Wisowaty as he retires as Calumet
23 City Treasurer and wish him the best in the future; and be it
24 further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to him as an expression of our esteem.
