1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this House are pleased and
3 honored to recognize significant achievements in the lives of
4 individuals of this great State; and
5 WHEREAS, This year marks the 80th anniversary of the
6 birth of Lorraine Norma Kissamis of Rolling Meadows; and
7 WHEREAS, She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on
8 April 27, 1919 and moved to Chicago at the age of 4; she
9 graduated from LeMoyne Elementary School and Lakeview High
10 School; and
11 WHEREAS, She was married to George C. Kissamis in 1940
12 and moved to Rolling Meadows in 1957; and
13 WHEREAS, She is the loving mother of Kevin Kissamis and
14 Kelly Kissamis, the proud grandmother of Christopher,
15 Jeffrey, and Kamron, and the great-grandmother of Andrew;
16 therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
19 we congratulate Lorraine Kissamis on the occasion of her 80th
20 birthday and extend to her our sincere best wishes for the
21 future; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to her as an expression of our esteem.
