1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are happy to recognize
3 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the
4 well-being of a citizen of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, Steven Remole, a senior at Armstrong Township
6 High School, is such an individual; he has become the hero of
7 Andrew Thelander, a 7-year old leukemia victim; and
8 WHEREAS, Steven Remole of Potomac plays football,
9 basketball, and baseball for the Trojans; he has arranged for
10 a fund raiser to be held January 30 for Andrew, including
11 dinner, and Andrew will be guest of honor at a game to be
12 held that night; and
13 WHEREAS, Steven Remole has done many things to help
14 Andrew; he's a leader among the high school kids and has
15 generously given of his time and talents to make sure that
16 Andrew has the best; and
17 WHEREAS, Steven Remole is a role model and indeed a hero;
18 therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
21 we applaud Steven Remole's activities in participating in
22 caring for Andrew Thelander; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to him as an expression of our esteem.
